At our sanctuary, we are dedicated to rescuing animals in need and providing them with a safe haven. We believe every animal deserves a loving home and a second chance. Our team works tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate these animals, ensuring they receive the care and compassion they deserve.

Rescues come in all different ways. We have some that have been surrendered due to inability to care for them for financial reasons, some that have been forcefully removed due to mistreatment, rehoming for life circumstances but the animals are not adoptable due to age, medical concerns, lack of human contact or other.

We bring them in, and provide a safe home with support and loving patience. Each animal is allowed the time they need to adjust.

Educating yourself about an animal before adopting or buying is crucial for ensuring a lifelong, happy companionship. Understanding an animal's needs, behavior, and care requirements can significantly reduce the chances of abandonment. Additionally, adopting from shelters rather than buying from breeders not only saves a life but also helps combat the overpopulation crisis. Choosing to adopt means giving a deserving animal a second chance at a loving home.

It is our goal to help educate and the earlier the better. We encourage school groups to come to the sanctuary for a tour which includes not only learning about farming and related shores, but also about each animal and what to expect from each and why they end up in shelters so often.
